Which photo to submit?
Flickr has a contest of sorts going on called The Blink of an Eye. The rules stipulate that I can only submit a single photo.
The problem is which photo to submit?
Update
From email, comments and talking w/my Mom, I missed some photos:
The Luna Moth. Totally meant to add this to the collection.
I can’t believe I missed this one. Mom picked this one out.
Original Post
I have collected together my favorites and from those, I am leaning to submitting one of these:
Bug photos anyone? I like both of these a lot.
But I think I might like this one better than the other two just for the contrast of it all. That and, at a large size, the dragonfly’s eyes are in focus and it makes for a weird globe like focal point.
I have some pictures of Roger that I really like. I think the crop on the smile might be a bit tight, but that is the full frame and, thus, cannot be expanded.
I really like this “tourist trap iguana” portrait, as well.
I could go with a landscape & sky photo, of which this is really the only one that has any impact.
Or I could go with this shot, but everyone who has ever been to Cabo San Lucas takes this shot.

I’d go with either the first picture (I love the colours!) or the one with Roger and the butterfly. They’re all outstanding, but those two really caught my eye.

They’re all wonderful. I’m partial to the Roger w/ Butterfly photo.

I really liked the Luna moth one. I was even going to comment on it when you first published it, but never got around to it.

I’d suggest the Luna moth as well, it is an excellent photo.

I really like the dragon fly but the focus is a bit too tight, so I’d submit the Luna Moth.

They are all so good, I’ll give my suggestions as to which I like least:
Bee
Dragon Fly
And I don’t really care for photographs of people.

I would absolutely take the landscape and sky one. For me, the arrangement of this one has the most creativity, whereas the animal pictures mostly shine because the creatures look interesting.
Besides this, the sky and the clouds realy seem to be in that constellation only for a blink of the eye - just the perfect moment you captured there.

The Luna moth has unusal colors, so that’s good, although macro photography is too common, because it’s too easy. The one with Roger and the butterfly fits the contest description very well, and the shot timing is excellent. Unfortunately I think the way the head is cut off it looks like you wanted to shoot the butterfly and that Roger is holding it is just incidental. But these two are the best.

Ugh, I’m torn between the luna moth and Roger with the butterfly, too. I ended up entering one of Abbey running with her umbrella while my husband chased her with the hose.

Actually, just took a look at scout and these were the pics you’ve posted to flickr that made their top 500 for the day they were posted:

Your agapanthas bud from June 17, 2005 (which I believe is in your folder of faves) was actually your top rated for interestingness.
