I remember that quake in Missouri too. I grew up near a quarry, so I was used to tremors like it. Had I been at home I probably wouldn't had noticed it. I was at my grand parents' home so I noticed it. It was kinda cool in a way.

I didn't feel this one, but got a call from my bro-in-law immediately after asking if I did. (sent him to the USGS site for confirmation)

"I fully expect to lose control of all bodily functions when a quake that size happens nearby or when a much larger quake hits in the area."

You'd be surprised. As a a cali native, I've gone through a large # of quakes, including the 1989 quake. Unless stuff is crashing all around you and threating your life, you'll probably just sit there and take it all in like most everyone else. 'Course thats not the *right* response. ;)

[...] Yep, we were. A 4.2 magnitude quake based on the other side of the bay. People out that way felt it pretty strongly. Ceej and Bill felt it too. A lot of people did, actually. [...]
