Joshua, I don’t have the exact URL handy, and Safari is trying to make me its bitch, so, briefly, if you go to the EMS site and search for ‘peggy’, you’ll find the page and ordering info for their generic LED “lightboard”.

I’m ordering one sometime in March. As I live in Boston, and survived the Great LED Freakout and Mooninite PWNAG3 of Boston, I MUST have one of these to properly celebrate the holiday in 2009!

Matt, the original is not on a square “pixel” grid, so reproducing it exactly with this specific tech is problematic.

Hmm, I seem to have lost my pixelated version. How annoying.

Nice! Did EMSL modify the arrangement of the mooninite’s ‘fingers’ or was that your doing – perhaps to make them more family oriented? The ones in Boston that caused all the hubbub were giving the bird, if I recall correctly.

I’d love to build one of these to display next year, but I can’t find the kits you speak of at EMS. Am I an idiot, or do they not sell them anymore?
