I’m currently using a Gillette safety razor from Art of Shaving. Seems to work well enough, though the manufacturing tolerances are such that the blades seem to shift very slightly.

I look forward to trying a new razor in the near future. More on that if it happens.

Go read the long set o’ forum posts that I linked to in the article. Apparently, there are three different manufacturing facilities for the Personna’s, only one of which is in Israel. So, yes, they may actually be “Israeli Personnas” made by the same company, but not “Israeli Personnas” made in Israel by said company. Whether the quality differs between the manufacturers is unknown by me, but I’d bet it does and would like to test.

Those aren’t Israeli’s. At least, they don’t look like the ones I have. Those look like the cheap “Personna” blades you can get at your local Wal-Mart.
